Bio I graduated from the University of Sannio in 2001 and obtained my PhD in Statistics from the Department of Statistical Sciences of the University of Padova in 2005. I have been Associate Researcher at the Department of Statistics of the University of Venice in 2006. I am Assistant Professor at the University of Sannio from December 2006. I obtained the ASN to be an Associate Professor in Statistics in 2013. I am a member of the Italian Statistical Society.

The seminar will shows the use of Mixed Effects Models in different application contexts. The estimation and inference procedures are illustrated using the R programming environment. During the seminar, several data sets will be illustrated together with a statistical problem, we recall the theoretical aspects and introduce the corresponding R code for both Linear and Generalized Linear Models.
